    50 hours of research during freshmen year, stopped during COVID.

    30 hours of online shadowing during COVID
  9. Non-clinical volunteering
    949 hours at the Humane Society
    25 hours at Baylor University
    100 hours distributing food to underprivileged around Baylor
  10. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc)

    Optional essay for TMDSAS explains lower undergraduate GPA and I believe I have really good letters of recommendations.
Already submitted primaries to almost every school in Texas. Just got secondaries back last week. Would like a list of schools to apply to outside Texas and some more insight on my chances to schools in Texas.

MD schools are unlikely with your stats. You could receive interviews at DO schools and I suggest these:

OP: Comment on what you did with scribing. What departments did you train for? Nonclinical volunteering may also be less than desired. What feedback/support did you get from your SMP faculty?
