Im applying this june and so far my stats and the schools I came up with are:

oGPA: 3.5
sGPA: 3.7
DAT: 22AA | 24TS | 21PAT | 19RC
Residency: NY

Schools:

NYU
Stony Brooke
Buffalo
Columbia
Rutgers

Im wondering my chances for these schools as well as other schools that would be a good match and neighbors new york. Thanks

Pretty solid. I would add a few more schools on there. Maybe Touro (since you're an NY resident).

Chances are solid. I personally wouldn't add Touro since it's so new, but you can if you want. Maybe add Temple (in Philadelphia), Tufts (in Boston), Maryland (in Baltimore), and/or Pitt (in Pittsburgh)

I wouldn't do Touro. You could pick BU or Tufts if you want to add in another private school. Also UNE since it's cheaper and still relatively close to NY. Also the PA schools.

Solid. I'd throw a few more schools into the mix but I wouldn't go over 10.

Where did you go to undergrad?

I would suggest you add the following schools (based on your school list I see you want to be in NY so I tried to pick schools close to there):

UConn
Upenn
BU
Tufts
Upenn
Temple
Maryland

Chances for the schools you listed:
NYU --> good chance
Stony Brooke --> good chance
Buffalo --> good chance
Columbia --> 50/50
Rutgers --> I have no clue

If you want interviews from the schools I just listed above I highly suggest you show interest by sending an email indicating that you are very interested in their program (I know people who have gotten interviews by doing that)

Regarding your school list.. are you saying I should show interest before applying or after I applied?

You're competitive for all those. You're in a great place for your cycle. Perhaps add Maryland to the list if you're not tight on money as others have suggested. It's a great program.

I'd look more into NYU and see if you're ok with the class size, as it's 4x bigger than many schools. Like others have said, I'd add Maryland and maybe Tufts.

I go to school at Binghamton University. Regarding your school list.. are you saying I should show interest before applying or after I applied?

After you apply (not immediately after, wait to see what the deal is if a school you want to go to is taking abnormally long to respond to you, then I'd send an email or call or something)

Thanks people. Any other advice is appreciated

What are your EC's, volunteer hours and shadowing hours. Yes, your stats are fine, but that is not the only consideration.

we have no way of evaluating your chances because we don't know the quality of your letters of rec, personal statement, ECs, and what kind of person you are and how well you can convey your desire to entire the field/ability to be a student faculty wants to be around for four years once you get to your interviews.

^ very important points ^. Admissions is holistic.
