Hey everyone I've been on SDN since freshmen year looking from look at DAT help, and application tips but this is my first post! I was wondering what you guys think of my list and my realistic chances of getting into these schools. Just some background:

Residency: OH
oGPA: 3.63
sGPA: 3.55
BCP: 3.59
Non-Science: 3.82
DAT: 23 AA, 24 TS, 20 QR, 21 EC, 22 BIO, 26 GC, 25 OG, 21 PAT
150+ Shadowing and Volunteer Hours at Dental Clinics
Reading Tutor at local elementary school near college campus
2 years of research experience but no publications

School list:
Case
Ohio State
Michigan
Louisville
Pitt
Marquette
Maryland
UPenn (Reach)
Columbia (Reach)

Im really wondering if I have a shot at UPenn and Columbia and would pick those two above the rest even though they are crazy expensive compared to instate OSU. I took out Kentucky and Midwestern - IL after my DAT and getting my GPA up above 3.60. Any feedback would be great and welcomed!

Every time I take a look at these threads, " chance me"!!!

I look for the gpa and dat scores.....

I am always surprised by the confidence levels of individuals with such great scores......

Chance me ?

or

should it be

float my boat !!!?

Go to the least expensive school .....

Go to NYU instead of Columbia..... If your looking for that city life

Yes, you have a shot, leave them.

List looks fine, I would maybe add Temple but you have solid chances regardless.
Is temple a good school? I was just told to remove it off my list and I'm not sure.

Thanks! I guess I kinda overlooked temple a little bit because if UPenn and Pitt

Why do you ask if you have a shot?! Lol, I have the same exact numbers as you. I really hope we get interviewed at Penn and Columbia. Why is Harvard not on your list? @rhp22

I hope we get interviews at both!! I never thought go Harvard as a shot because of my gap being on the lower side of the average

@rhp22 add Harvard. It's not only GPA. Your DAT is high, you have experiences, you have a good deal of research. Get great letters and write a quality personal statement and you have a realistic shot. I think you're fine for Penn and Columbia though.
