All of your numbers look great! I would highly recommend applying to LMU-DCOM. Great school, great program, and your numbers fit perfectly in their preferred range.

If you were worried about an MCAT score of 27 or 29 then you are crazy. Those are above average and you probably would have been accepted to a few DO schools. With a 516 though you can almost go anywhere as long as you have EC's to back it all up so figure out where you want to go and apply.

Very surprised you did not get in last cycle. Did you have both the 29 and 27 MCAT last cycle when you applied? Also what schools did you apply to last cycle? Is it the "applied to:" list in your post? Or is that a list of schools you've already applied to this cycle?

With a 516 MCAT and your GPA your extremely competitive at all D.O. schools. Avoid state schools and those with regional biases. Apply to around 10-15 schools and you should receive several interviews.

I'm not exactly sure how much that second MCAT hurt your app. Even with that decrease, your scores were around 503-505 if converted to the new MCAT. That's still around the average for D.O. matriculants.

With your stats, you have a good shot at "low-tier" MD. I strongly recommend applying broadly to MD, especially in state unless that state is california.
