I am applying to 35 MD schools, looking to apply to 10ish DO schools. I do not have any direct DO experience/exposure (Also wondering if I should look for a DO to shadow/get a LOR from and apply later?) (I personally have no preference for MD vs DO, I just want to be a physician...) (I have a general idea what the differences between DO and MD are but they seem to be less and less relevant nowadays while practicing medicine)

50 Shadowing Hours (various specialties, all MDs)
120 hours volunteering (non-clinical)
40 hours volunteering at a hospital (clinical)
60 hours TA freshman bio seminar
3 years research in evolution and ecology lab with one co-author publication
1600 hours of paid employment while in school, promoted to manager
2100 ED medical scribe (site only hires MDs)
