Hi, everyone. This is my current list of schools. I am going to apply in June. I have to retake the DAT, and I am going do that in mid or late July. I am aiming for a 20 or 21. By the end of this semester, I expect to have a 3.77 cGPA and a 3.675 sGPA. (I might got two B this semester, so I expect my GPA to drop). I have excellent ECs, a good recommendation from a dentist, and two mediocre letters from my professors. Please tell me if should add or remove any schools. Thank you very much! Oh, I am a NY resident.

Any ECs, experiences, or outreach that make you stand out? Hard to critique a list without a dat, but if you get a 21 or more you could probably confidently cut that list by a handful. Good luck!

You probably don't need to apply to that many schools with your stats, you can afford to eliminate a few depending on your interest in some of them.

How exactly do you know if a letter will be strong/mediocre if you don't get the chance to see it? When I asked for my first letter so far, I took the advice on here and clearly asked for a strong letter. He asked me to send him an e-mail, and I reiterated that I was happy he will be writing me a strong letter. I suppose body language/reaction to asking them could determine if you will get a mediocre one?
