WICHE essentially means you live in one of those western states that doesn't have a medical school, and therefore they get preference when applying to a school like Colorado. To answer your question, you would be at a disadvantage when applying to Colorado as an OOS student in a non WICHE state. However, your gpa and DAT are great and you could very well be one of the select few who land an interview. I'd say you should go for it!
