  1. Pre-Dental
I was wondering if anyone could offer feedback about my schools list for this coming cycle. I am a Texas resident.

Overall GPA: 3.33
BCPM GPA: 3.30
Master's GPA: 3.90 36 credit hours.
DAT: 20AA 19TS 22 PAT
Good amount of shadowing/community service
Co-authored a published research paper.

Currently my list includes: all three Texas schools, UNLV, Ohio State, ASDOH, Pitt, Louisville, Maryland, and Midwestern(AZ). I picked based on out of state acceptance rates, price, and location.

Thanks

UNLV is one of the most expensive dental schools in the country

LECOM is in the realm of your stats. Less stressful didactics (Focus on didactics in the realm of clinical dentistry rather than information chugging and regurgitating/forgetting like other schools)/better test schedule blocks, heavier clinical skills focus D1/D2 than a lot of schools from what I can gather//about the same clinical for D3/D4. Not saying LECOM is the best school ever, it has its quirks from being fairly new but most of them have been ironed out after speaking to people that have gone through the entire program and seen the changes. LECOM is also going through major changes in the application process to be more competitive due to its significant progress since opening its doors and higher interest from applicants.

I would keep it on the radar also because it has one of the lowest COA for an oos by about 100k. But if you got in at a TX school I would definitely stay in TX!

Thank you! I’ll look into adding LECOM.

Any other feedback? Thanks.
