Thoughts on whether this list is enough and makes sense?

Michigan - top choice, reach/target
UD Mercy - low target
Penn - reach
Case Western - target
Pitt - reach/target
Buffalo - target, debating
Boston - low target, debating

GPA: 3.62 overall, 3.56 science
DAT: 23 AA, 20 PAT, 20 TS
State of residency: MI

I judged reach vs target vs low target based on how I compare against their mean stats. My understanding is that the concept of safety school does not exist when it comes to dental school admissions, because you can be well above the mean stats and still not be anywhere close to being guaranteed an interview. Some even say that it is a thing where if you are quite above a school's mean stats, they will not even consider you because they assume you will end up at a higher tier institution anyways and therefore don't want to waste an interview slot.

Where I put "debating", if it may be fine for me to apply to only 5 schools, those might be the two schools I consider cutting. Buffalo because so far I have it on the list only for the sake of coming up with 7 schools, and Boston because of the high cost of living. I am trying to keep application costs down because I myself have difficulty affording them (but I don't qualify for FAP because of how much my parents make).

Basically, if I get accepted to Michigan, barring enough scholarships and grants from another school to match Michigan's IS tuition, the deal is most likely sealed.
