School open house

Hi,
Are school open houses waste of time?

[dddsmack]

Usually, especially if you have to travel across the country.

If you can visit one close by, I'd say go for it. But if not...definetly don't fly to just check out a school for a one hour tour.

You can at least see the types of things schools can offer you...

Agreed.

But if you are already going to be in the area, and are considering a school, it's nice to visit and check out the program.
