School reputation

Do dental schools care about the reputation of undergraduate schools? I guess what I am saying is if I go to a hard school and get decent grades and someone else goes to an easy school and gets stellar grades how do we compare if everything else is equal?

The DAT is the great equalizer. My ug college is just average. They looked at my DAT and that's part of how I gained accpetances.
