I was looking at the DO school stats that are available on various websites. Because AACOM will take grade replacements, does this mean all the various stats from DO schools include grade replacements?
Obviously a bunch of grade replacements is a bad thing, but a few to bump up the GPA seems like it would OK and happen often, right? I know I am looking forward to some improvement of 2 chemistry C's next summer.

Does the application state that you replaced some grades OR do the schools you applied to know this?

thanks

So if I am understanding this correctly, the statistical GPAs that we see for DO schools include both class grades from ex. a class taken the first time and its replacement grade? So, let's say I got a "C" in Orgo and took it again and got an "A," the stat GPA includes the calculation of both the "C" and the "A". I thought that DO schools don't even see the first grade and the only grade provided by AACOMAS is the first grade.

Your GPA will be calculated with the grade of the retake that is most recent--so no, they don't average the grades. Yes, the DO schools will see the list of your classes and the repeats.
