schools accepting transfers?

Hey everyone,

I'm a MS II in east coast school that is back in headlines for it's financial troubles. 🙂
Makes me feel rather unsecure about my future here. So the question is: which schools are known to be generous in accepting transfering students? For instance, I remember 2 years ago Mount Sinai accepted 25 students in each class while expanding.

generally they don't let you transfer without a good reason (married partner going to residency at X school, etc) I know my school (USC) accepts about 5 a year.
