Hi! Sorry if this is a noob question...I've just started coming to SDN...still learning the etiquette.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone, on the top of their head, could think of med schools that are pass/fail and/or don't rank students the first two years? I'm trying to narrow down a list of schools I want to apply to this summer, and these two factors are somewhat important (the ranking more than the pass/fail though). I feel like these two factors would make the atmosphere MUCH more friendly (but maybe that's just me...someone can slap me over the head if it's false). I can think of a few, but I was hoping some people could just throw out a few schools? Thanks!

Oh wow...didn't know that existed!! Thanks!

Actually, a lot of schools that are theoretically P/F do record your numbers and then rank you/use it for AOA membership, so that doesn't tell the whole story. It seems pretty weird to me, but hey...
Do you know specifically which schools do this? Just curious...

most schools rank right? besides cclcm (and case?) and yale or something?

Yeah but there's a difference between actually using your test scores the first two years for ranking purposes and ranking you based on your grades in the clinical years
