Hello, does anyone know a list of schools who asks specifically for a letter to verify/explain institutional action (academic probation)? How do you guys look for those letters? Thanks in advance

Virtually any school may ask for such a letter either during admissions or, more commonly, post admissions during pre-matriculation phase. They do so as part of due diligence (read CYA) so if questions arise later about the student, say during reaccreditation, then can show they reviewed the issue

Would you say this is something we need to prepare to ask around for to submit during primary/secondary applications? Or is this something we would worry about further in the cycle?
