I heard a while ago that certain public schools in the MD, VA, and SC region will consider North Carolina residents the same as their in-state residents. Does anyone know which schools specifically?

as far as I know, not Maryland. We only have one state school, and i'm 99% sure they don't consider NC residents the same as MD residents

Pretty sure that's not true for medical school. I believe it is for optometry though, only because there aren't in-state options.

Basically your only options for in-state tuition for MD programs are UNC and ECU.

Campbell University SoOM
Duke SOM

Wake Forest SOM

So basically, all the ones in NC.
