I have not gotten an official rejection from Louisville (rejection email, letter, or AADSAS update), yet they have confirmed to me that they are no longer interviewing for this cycle. So therefore, I'm rejected.

Do you know of any other school that tends to not officially reject their rejectees? Maybe they'll update AADSAS when they receive/begin reviewing my app, but never anything after that?

Here are some schools that I'm still waiting to hear from (pre-interview):

Marquette
USN
VCU
Creighton
USC
Western
Tufts
Boston

(Note: I'm aware of the ones still interviewing...just wondering which usually tend to leave their rejects hanging.)

I was thinking about that too. I have not been rejected at any schools I've applied to so far, but here are the schools that I haven't heard anything from:
OHSU
USC
Boston U
UOP
Creighton
Marquette

I just hope to keep the no-rejection thing alive with the schools I've interviewed at and not heard anything from :xf:

Creighton and Marquette are definitely done interviewing, and I believe Western is too. Have you interviewed at any of those schools? I know Creighton's class is full, but I'm not sure about Marquette and Western.

If you haven't interviewed at those places, then you are probably not getting in there this cycle. You can always call the schools and check though, because you never know.

Most schools wont send out rejections until either aadsas is open again or schools are about to start with in a month or two. Part of this is because while there maybe very little chance of getting in, there is still a chance. If they reject you too soon then they cant take back the rejection to offer you a spot because of aadsas. But as you are aware the later it gets the "no new" tends to be "bad new".

Actually, they can take back a rejection. Oklahoma rejected me (and a bunch of other people) on dec. 1, and weall just got accepted..I'm sure that isn't a common occurence, but apparently it does happen.

Somebody in the Boston acceptance thread just said they got an interview and my friend has an interview for March 1st, so I don't think they're done interviewing yet.

But let me tell you about how some schools will tell you about your rejection. I remember when I was applying in the '09 cycle, I was on top of my stuff and I submitted everything within a few days. One week later I got a rejection letter from BU and I was FREAKING OUT. "HOW THE HELL WAS I REJECTED WITHIN 1 WEEK OF APPLYING? I DIDN'T EVEN DO THE SECONDARY YET."

My dad took one look at the letter and went "This rejection letter is for the '08 cycle."
