science gpa?

if i take a bio course that's cross-listed with psych department, does that course count as a science course? it's called animal behavior and it's counted as bio major courses

Also- if i retake a bio course, do dental schools count the second (hopefully better) grade only for GPA or both? how bad is it to retake a course?

One last question - I know Candian schools are really competitive and someone said the avg. GPA for intervewees were around 3.8+. is that a science GPA or GPA with all the courses?

1) sounds like it counts
2) they will average both grades, yikes!
3) i don't think there is a set gpa, could be both
