Ugh! I had my calc final today...it was killer. 🙁 Along those lines, I was wondering if this class (calc) would be taken into consideration when calculating my science gpa?

S.D.,

Yes, Calculus is figured into the Science GPA.

dang it yo! 😡 ...not what i wanted to hear, but thanks!

ah don't worry you probably did better than you think...plus a few C's here and there won't kill ya
i know, i am an experienced C getter 😛
just do your best and make sure you have an overall of at least a 3.0 (of course the higher the better) and get at least 19+ on your DAT and you'll be on your way to dental school (if you have lots of good letters and experience...research won't hurt either even if you just wash dishes.... they won't know what you do.....unless you tell them bluntly). 😀

you'll be fine!

Anyone know if grades recieved from Undergraduate Research count as Science GPA ??

I would guess that it depends on how it is listed on your transcript. 😕

depends on what class you list it as on your application 🙂

I recieved credit when I was in UNdergrad
as a Biology grade?
So does this count?

my independant research credits counted (yey!) - mostly b/c they were listed from the bio dept. 😀

oh - I forgot though: When i just got "credit" for research (graded s/u) it didn't count in my science GPA - but it did when i was graded A-F (liek a real class - not that it really mattered since it was just one credit). Hope that helps
