I don't think so.

Instead of asking peers on SDN, it would be best to go to the ADEA site. There is a multi page pdf you can download. It explains which classes fall under what category. 👍

is political science and library science calculated into this figure?

Library science?

Sorry...it's just that...

What was I laughing about again?

Oh yeah...library "science"

I had a similiar question for the premed. I am an Information Science Major which with that can get a bit hazy since there is math and other stuff involved but at least for the med apps it doesn't apply. The website for dental stuff should probably say for yours.

cool, thanks guys!

I think what they mean by "science gpa" is the holy trinity of BCP: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Your confusion is understandable though.

Bow down to the deities of dental academia! Yea, thy nights shall be full of weeping and gnashing of teeth. Long shall be thy days, full will be thy sorrow....

it's what librarians specialize in

library science is one of the pre-req's for any major, a "general ed" class req'd at my school. I of course got an A in it, so I was hoping I could factor it into my science GPA 🙂. My political science class I did not do so well in, just didn't take it seriously, and could've cared less at the time (was hung-over during the final), so I got a C+, and obviously I don't want this to factor in to the final grade.

It would be perfect if you guys could talk the AADSAS to take my Lib. Science grade, and forget the poli science (you can do that, right?)

(i'm just kidding all you out there who have little to no sense of humor left at this point)

thanks again!

I'd be glad to have polisci in my sci gpa lol

I cannot find the link to the adea.com website that lists where particular classes belong...I've read through one page that gives specifics on how to calculate gpa's and i cannot figure it out, on one hand it says "other science" is calculated into science gpa, and then below that, it says "other science" is calculated into the non-science.

CONFUSED.
