How important is the science GPA in relation to the cumulative GPA?
My cum GPA will likely be quite higher than my science GPA ( roughly 3.8 vs 3.5 in science ), will this hurt me?

Should I try to take more upper level science classes to boost my science GPA? Or should I not worry too much about it?

Some med schools only list the stats for the average cum GPA on their admission page. Does this mean that they don't care as much about the science GPA?

i think ur GPAs are stellar. 3.8 cum is high enough for the toppest of the top tier, and while 3.5 is a bit below average, it really shouldn't be a problem, even at the elite places. however, much of this will depend on your MCAT score. i would say that a 3.5 sGPA and 30 MCAT isn't as impressive as a 3.3 sGPA and a 37+ MCAT. that's just me though.

lastly, i would say that cGPA is slightly more important because it includes everything, including your sGPA. also, if you look at the AMCAS chart showing acceptance rates based on MCAT score and GPA, only the cGPA is used. I am sure someone on this forum can link to that chart.
just out of curiosity, what kinda places are you shooting for? the top tier? or just anywhere? if you are satisfied with just getting into a MD, then go out and celebrate. that is, of course, provided you have a good MCAT (30+) and the usual assortment of ECs: clinical volunteering, etc.
