Hey! I was just got accepted to SCO and am looking for some last minute housing. Is anyone at SCO looking for a roommate or have any suggestions for where to begin. I've just requested my SCO email account, so it'll be a couple days before I have access to my fellow classmates through Sharepoint. If anyone is interested, please send me a message. Thanks!

Congratulations on your acceptance! Sharepoint is great and hopefully you will find a roommate on there.
I'm going into my third year at SCO so I have a few suggestions on places to live. Mud Island is located along the Mississippi River and is a community about 1.5 miles long. It's only about 12min from school so very convenient and extremely safe (which you can't say about most places in memphis). A high majority of the students live on Mud Island (including Dental and Med Students). There are several apartment complexes on Mud Island and they range in prices pretty drastically. The majority end up in Riverset - it's the oldest (~17 years old) and thus the cheapest and not the nicest. The next most common apt complex seems to be the Arbor's - they're the first apartments and probably the next step up as far as luxury and price.
Good luck finding a roommate and enjoy SCO and Memphis!

Thanks so much for the helpful advice. I got a chance to visit Mud Island when I came down for my interview at SCO. I would love to live there, I just need to find a roommate to share the expense.
