I already searched some posts and couldn't find any consensus on my issue. I have read the Cliff Notes and Ferralis Notes like 2x now and have done 75% of the practice problems on BC several times. I took a full length test today and got 38/40 - effectively scoring a 28 on the bio section.

The problem is that I know I had seen something like 50% of those questions prior to taking the first full length test. I am planning to purchase the qvault tests just to keep my brain engaged in the material until game day. However, I was wondering if anyone else had issues with score inflation due to running across the same practice problem in the tests and if there were any work arounds people had discovered.

You can buy a practice test from Prometric. It's really expensive - $100 for the full thing and $20 per subject section. You can only take it once and they don't give you a break down of how you did (ie what questions you missed). It's a little pricey for me. I cannot seem to find the 2009 paper test that has been referenced several times by Ari or others on SDN.

Datqvault is pretty good, I used that before bootcamp. The explanations are not as in depth but it is still good practice. As far as score inflation, I did 6-10 as individual tests and then 1-5 as full length to avoid that, and I would agree that your scores are probably inflated.
