I just took the PS of AAMC 10 and scored a 9, when on all other AAMC exams (including 11) I scored 12-15. My exam is Saturday and I'm frustrated right now. I feel like I've worked hard for nothing. I made a bunch of math mistakes and didn't feel very focused. The fact that I took the section right after the first day of class probably didn't help.

Anyway, I'm pretty nervous as it is. It's not like I didn't know the info and I know I'm capable of better. I hope this doesn't happen test day. Any advice?

I'm Sept 1st too! I haven't taken AAMC 11 but AAMC 10 was right in with my average scores.

I wouldn't beat yourself up about it at all. I would chalk it up to you just being distracted with the first day of school. Personally, my performance is pretty much based on how focused I am, especially when it comes to verbal (unfocused=9, focused= 10 or 11). It sounds like your mistakes didn't have anything to do with content so I wouldn't worry about it.

Remember confidence is key when it comes to this bugger!

If you have been scoring 12-15 on all the other AAMCs, don't be too worried about that score. Just analyze what you got wrong/right and all the answer choices and spend time studying those concepts you didn't understand on that exam.
