Scoring of usmle/comlex?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I searched and couldn't find an answer. I was wondering how scores are determined for the usmle and comlex, given that everyone has a different test? Do they have a finite amount of questions and just split them up differently for everyones exam and then grade it based on the % of people who got the specific questions correct? Thanks
