Anyone know how the screening process is actually done? Does one person just sit there and add MCAT scores and GPAs or do they work as a team reviewing a candidates background?
thousands of applicant apply to a single school, I honestly think a computer puts ur gpa and mcat into some secret formula, an the top 5% gets reviewed more thouroghly.. my 2 cents 🙄
I have been told that schools actually hire a company to sift through the thousands of applicants. medical schools don't have the time and resources to look at all those applications. Each school gives a list of requirements that should be filled and the company pulls up the best whatever # that the school wants for interviews.
