Scrubs make you FAT!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

And for the record, I'm no where near fat. And even if I were fat, it is in severely bad taste and reminiscent of eighth grade behavior to call someone "fatty, fatty, fatty."

WOW, in responding, I am succumbing to your lowly level. Refrain from irritating me and the rest of the SDN community through your pointless posts directed at me for some unknown, incredibly inane reason. Unless you have something valuable and marginally informative to say (which, I highly doubt will ever happen from your numerous displayed inadequacies at being a well-intentioned individual), stop posting.
Wah wah ;((!! Grow up, he was just playing around. If you put him at a hypothetical lower level why would you stoop to it and place yourself there as well?

Use "large body habitus" instead of fatty, fatty, fatty.

"om symbol"? 😕

Sorry, I'm still a little lost 🙁

Thanks for the help...

It's a religious symbol for Hindus.

Come to think of it, "avatar" is an Indian word too, referring to the various forms of God. *babbles away* 🙂

Anything will make you fat if you eat enough of it...

but honestly, how many pairs of scrubs can you eat!!!!!!

I'm grown, thank you. 😎

You obviously haven't read the REST of his silly posts directed at me on other threads.

His first few posts were amusing. I thought he was just playing around, and I laughed.

Then he kept doing it, and it got irritating. It's irritating when someone completely changes your posts to add new text you never said. He did that not just on this thread but on other threads as well. If you see my earlier responses to him, they were also in good fun and in no way insulting. HENCE, this last post you are referring to was when I finally got irritated. I was especially irritated when he hijacked the BU thread to post completely unrelated insults directed at me.

I've worked in the medical field as a tech since three years or so, and I find it very hard to maintain my weight wearing such comfortable, loose clothes everyday... I say we toss scrubs and wear mini skirts to keep our motivation for looking good up! 😀

Ok, ok, I know we should eat well and exercise regularly for health reasons, not just for looking hot. 👍

I get the feeling that you are a gorgeous girl.
Hope to meet you as doctors

For 99.5% of the population, there is absolutely no excuse for being fat.

I should note that this is far more forgiving than the leniance for those who would choose to wear Sponge Bob Squarepants or Bugs Bunny scrubs. These are simply inexcuseable and will be banned from my office should I one day have one. 😉

That is all for now.

I don't know if this is due to scrubs, but I've noticed that many nurses tend to be overweight. Has anyone else noticed this and what are some possible reasons for this trend?

I agree to a point. I am motivated to look hot for my man. I mean, sometimes what he finds attractive isn't what other men would be all distracted by. What I mean is that my boyfriend thinks I am hot even when I am wearing jeans and a tee. Tonight, we went out to the movies and I was super casual, and I was comfortable, and he was loving every bit of it. However, I don't think that I was receiving anymore extra man attention than normally.

I do think that you have to take care of yourself for yourself. I mean, if your boyfriend is your motivation to be healthy, what are you going to do if and when you break up?

I have a love/hate relationship with my scrubs. I love them cuz they are so comfortable and hate them because they are covered in ICU patient microbes and do nothing for my figure. Having them has increased the laundry I do by orders of magnitude. I'm glad they're in lots of fun colors now! No longer do we have to look like boogers.

And soon, we can add white coats to our fashion plate!
