I just went through the show SCRUBS (on Netflix) again.

I forgot how wonderful this show is.

It is clever, yet also hits the feeling of how I felt as an intern - and I think - captures the hospital environment and sense of medicine - as well as hollywood could anyway.

If you are looking for a good show to watch - check it out again.

Especially the first few seasons. Great balance of medicine, humor, plot, characters, etc. Kind of went off the rails in the latter seasons, I thought.

I watched all 8 seasons. I agree there were annoying parts, but the whit still remained.

I think Dr Kelso is a phenomenal character and actor. I hope he got a lot of props in that world those guys run around in. He didn't seem to get much press or recognition.

In fact, I would say it is clear that he was - by far - the best actor of the lot...him and the janitor.

Zach Braff is insanely annoying, with that stupid goofy face. He has never made me laugh,
and the worst part is that his character thinks he's deep, saying **** like "It's always tough
telling a patient they're going to die." Really?

Jon C. McGinley and Neil Flynn made that show.

I always thought of all the medical shows out there, that this was probably the most accurate in terms of what day to day life in the mind of a physician was like. At least much more accurate than Grey's, Nip/Tuck, House, etc

On my surgery rotation as an MS3, I was standing across a SICU bed from my chief, a PGY7 with her fellowship still in front of her. She was up to her elbow in this guy's colon, pulling out stool and looks up at me: "They glossed over this part on Grey's."

So true.
