Hey guys,
I'm new to the site - 3rd year at university of south carolina.
i was wondering what people thought about the scutmonkey book - is it worth it? I tried to find pre-existing threads on it but no luck.

I ended up getting the book...and probably used it twice. I'm not even sure where it is now. I just ended up using Epocrates or UpToDate (wifi) on my palm - it was much quicker. And much less heavy - my pockets already had enough stuff in them third year

The guy I worked for b/w 1st and 2nd year made me buy it. Since starting 3rd year I've used it a good bit. Not only is it useful for drugs but also has lots of stuff like what different lab tests mean, how to do common procedures, etc.

I like it and use it often, but many people get by without it just fine.

Waste of money...better, more thorough resources are available.
