SDN not representative of the majority of pre-meds (a reassuring thread)

It is pretty apparent that most people on SDN have high scores and will most likely get into some very good schools. I think this can be misleading for those who have "middle of the road" scores. This forum can give the impression that everyone applying to med school has a 35 and a 4.0. I think it is important to reassure those that do not have top scores that most applicants do not have these scores. it just so happens that many of the folks who post on SDN happen to be top candidates. So hang in there if your scores aren't the best. You are more competitive than you think. 😀
