SDN Survey Banning

So I made a post a couple days with a link to a survey on Step 1 prep and resources. The thread was deleted and I was banned because of the site's policy on database collection. I understand the concern and I would be perfectly willing to make this poll on these boards but the features on surveymonkey are better and the analysis displays more elegant. SDN is all about getting other people's opinion, this is just a more organized way of doing it. I'm not trying to collecting data for my personal gain, but I feel like the best way to provide a consensus on a topic is to poll a large number of experts in the field (aka SDN). If there is anyway to have this survey with the moderator's blessings, please let me know.

I agree.

I think the survey was pretty well-designed that would provide comprehensive information on various factors affecting most people's study habits/strategies.

The survey results would guide all the future test-takers on how to best prepare for the exam AND focus their efforts on seeking out any additional help they may require by searching these forums properly.

I've never heard of this policy before.

I know people have done surveys on SDN before. There's a great one done every year by someone in the EM forum keeping track of match/interview statistics.

SDN does not allow the unauthorized solicitation of our members for data collection purposes. We require administrator approval for any such survey. Discussion of such concerns are best directed to the SDN help desk.
