Student Doctor Network is looking for what our users would like to see in improvements on our site. With the monies from donations this year, SDN has been able to upgrade the servers and is currently in process of updating the database server. We are working to improve SDN and respond to what resources the majority of our users wish to utilize (and of course make SDN more stable so there is no more crashing!)

In response to user requests, this year SDN has already implemented these changes:

• revamped its forums with the addition and reorganization of various forums and sub-forums,
• added the SDN bookstore, SDN store, and upgraded donor privileges to raise money for SDN,
• updated interview feedback forum,
• as well as added more partners in order to serve our users and provide them with the latest and greatest information on various fields (Such as McGill Journal of Medicine, painrounds.com, eyeorbit.org, d aMD-MBA.org)
• and much, much more!​

So we are now requesting what YOU, as the user, to provide us with feedback and suggestions on what you would like to have in terms upgrades of features and format changes. Our goal is to have people from all walks of life contribute to SDN and help us to create an invaluable resource for pre-professional health programs through graduate school, practice specialties and beyond.

SDN forums are all good !but i was wondering if u could make it subject wise , like if some body has a doubt in anatomy he /she should type in the anatomy forum .this makes it easier for all ,to just go thr the subjects and helps even for the last minute revisions for example i am going through anatomy right now and i have lots of things i want to discuss and see in that perticular subject -so i can just go to anatomy section and see all topics there.
it would make things very easy for us !!thanx in advance .

I think we all apriciate this forum so much. It has helped me tons!!!
I would really apriciate if you had in the INTERVIEW FEEDBACK one specific for International dentist programs (IDP) or advanced standing. Because eventough we applyed to dental schools, the questions are not the same than those for regular applicants. For my interview I had to read every feedback of schools that I knew had IDP and according to the questions find out wich ones were from international dentist. It was a hassle, worth it, but still took a long time. So I will really apriciate if you could implement that part.

Thanks for the wonderful service that sdn provides to students far and near!
I would love to see ..

1.Specific forums..
like subject wise..just like the USMLE forums so that students can discuss their doubts just to that specific subject
2.Chatting with another member will be great ..so that one can get some information faster instead of PM..
3.Search function.." to be very specific"..
Students should not allowed to open new threads of the " Same old" topics again and again..like if they want to open topics on a particular school..say Upenn/ Tufts./ loans/ NDB part1../.the function should give them choices of opening in the exisiting threads..instead of starting another thread on the same topic over over again.That will be useful so that we don't have to read almost every other thread which has similar information..more compiled better service ..easy to access information.
Choices..should be given..do you want to post your info/ question under these threads or .." other new thread"..
4.asking students for more an active participation instead of just browsing for information will be great!
4. New Information about any upcoming exams/ changes./ books deals/....like a flash news..would be great
or ..if any new programs are announced at schools for IDP students " we first heard it on sdn"!!..those will be great.. 👍
5. More space in the PM box..will be great as so much information is given across PM..and no space to store
well I can think of just these as of now..
