Hiring in Seattle! UWMC Northwest is the community arm of UW Medical Center, with a purely clinical practice. Candidates should be proficient with ultrasound-guided blocks and catheters.

Cases include ortho (joints/trauma/sports med), spine, urology, breast/plastics, ophthalmology, ENT/OMFS, OB/Gyn, GynOnc, podiatry, general surgery/hernia/colorectal/endocrine. Low-risk OB is located in a brand new wing.

We are a young, fun, and collaborative group. ~80% solo cases, 20% medical direction in care team model with excellent CRNA relationship.

Compensation is competitive with maximum based solely on production. State benefits are extremely generous; all MDs are clinical faculty with UW School of Medicine.

Hey, just for clarification, what exactly does "compensation is competitive" mean? Is this 50% MGMA, 75% MGMA?
Any details on vacation weeks, call burden, retirement contributions, academic responsibilities, etc...?

Competitive salary means it is competitive in the local Puget Sound region; multiple options are available for pretax retirement contributions, with matching.

-Vacation/CME ~5 weeks
-Overnight weekday call ~q10-12
