Does anyone know of someone who completed their premedical education at Seattle University and was accepted into an allopathic medical school in the US?

I have done extensive amount of research and have not found one source that would suggest anyone has. Additionally, I have emailed a counselor and am still awaiting a response.

I was also reading their pre-health student handbook, in which they interviewed a student that applied to medical school, and shares his experiences, but there is nothing to indicate this student was ever accepted into a medical school.

Anyone know?

I've never seen feedback on SDN about Seattle U's program.

Some of the programs listed on the AAMC site are no more than an out of date web page, and that's been my impression of the SeattleU "program." It looks better organized than it did a few years ago, but the speed with which you get called back will tell you whether that's the case or not.

I can tell you that SeattleU is one of the more expensive ways to get your prereqs done. Not that I recommend doing prereqs at UWash, though. Seattle's a tough town. If I could do it again, I wouldn't have stayed here once I started working towards med school.

Portland State has the best prereq program in the PNW, imho.

If and when SeattleU calls you back, here are some suggested questions to ask: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showpost.php?p=9561585&postcount=2

Best of luck to you.

Thank you for responding, I’ve actually read your posts regarding Seattle U (in several threads), as well as numerous other threads you've started or contributed to, including the thread you referred to in your previous post.

Your posts and contributions to SDN have helped me (as well as many others) in answering many questions regarding pre-med postbacc.

Thanks again and good luck with your admissions!
