second LOR request reminder (urgent)

My professor sent me an email four days ago saying he would have my LOR for a research program submitted the following day. It's been four days and the letter still hasn't been submitted. He sent that email to me because I had sent a reminder email. Can I just send him another LOR request message from the program portal as a reminder. I kinda don't want to email him again and the deadline is tonight.

Email him and say the deadline is tonight.

Passive actions like re-sending an automated request won't help. It's probably low priority on a long to do list. Just remind him, again (politely).
