Hi all new to the forams hear. I is thinking about applying for pod school but after talking to some students I beginning to have 2nd thoughts... Ive bEen hearing from some peoples that student at Western done not really happy with there experience so far. Is Western a total boner kill? Does any1 have any other info about Western? Or is what I heard total lies? I heard it from a freind of a freind of a freind so dont get mad please. From what I here we should go there as a last resort?

Its always worth an interview. Western is new and growing pains should be expected. I havent heard anyone say that it is a bad school. If you dont like it interview other places. CSPM is another school in California if that is the area you are looking for.

If you want to go into podiatry, but you are having second thoughts from advice from a friend of a friend of a friend you might have your hands full.

I don't see how they could question the bonericity of Western seeing how it's so new. It all depends on the person. For me, I felt a lot of boner kill at DMU. I even felt some boner kill at Ohio as well. To be honest, I would call up each school and ask about boner kill directly to the dean, he will point you in the right direction.

I don't get why you're so mad. If anything it was a complement. We have had 3 exams in the last 3 days and an anatomy exam on Monday. Your post single handedly made my weekend.

As for never having nothing positive to say...I'd disgree, there are many times I have nothing positive to say. But if you actually search through my posts you'll find many nice things written about Western. If you really want my thoughts on Western PM me, I've never not written someone back when they asked a question...

GimliSonOfGloin, is English your first language? Also, have you taken the MCAT yet? I am not sure how well you would do on it without a good understanding of the English language. That goes the same for graduate school.

As far as it being a boner kill? haha, I have not had a bad experience so far. It is definitely no walk in the park, but it is suppose to be hard. Some students probably complain, but I think they would complain at any school.

There is no way you got an R on the written portion of the MCAT, from your posts here on the forum it is obvious you are lying about this score...They do take your grammar into consideration when scoring it. What else may you be lying about???

I am now halfway through my 3rd year of school and can tell you that you will probably be somewhat unhappy wherever you go with some part of your schooling. No school is great, each school has its own faults. I will say that some schools provide a better education in different areas than others. You need to investigate the schools for yourself and decide which school is best for you.
