Hello.

These are the statistics for my very first try on my DAT:

PAT 18 (55.3)
QR 18 (86.6)
RC 18 (52.2)
BIO 19 (83.5)
CHEM 25 (98.9)
OCHEM 25 (98.4)

Total Science 22 (98.3)
Academic Average 21 (97.2)

---------------------------------------------------------------

Today, I retook it and the scores are:

PAT 22 (93.4)
QR 19 (91.2)
RC 17 (24.9)
BIO 22 (95.9)
CHEM 22 (91.8)
OCHEM 22 (90.4)

Total Science 22 (95.6)
Academic Average 20 (87.6)

There are some ups and downs ... my scores on Bio and PAT definitely improved ... However, the academic average dropped.

I already sent the first scores to the dental school and AADSAS.
Should I send my second scores? Or should I not?

btw why did you retake in the first place!? those 1st scores are really good. you should of thought of what would happen if you got lower your 2nd try

Why in the world did you retake it? Your first scores were good! What's your GPA?

horrible idea to retake. unfortunately, even though your new scores are decent, they reflect the potential consequences of retaking after getting a great first score.

Why the heck did you retake, I would have ran out of the testing center for the first time crying my eyes out for joy!

I remember a post by Doc Toothache a while ago very highly warning anyone with AA over 20 not to retake because the likelyhood of increasing the score was low based upon the variability of the test you could get (I.E. piano passage) and some other factors.

That all being said, Doesnt the AADSAS automatically send your new DAT scores to all the schools?
