Secondaries and Application Time

Hello~

If i plan to submit my AADSAS by the end of this week... do you guys know roughly how long it will take for secondaries to start rolling in...?

I am taking the DATs on the 4th...so will that leave enough time for secondaries to come in and for me to grab some interviews for Dec 1st acceptance?

I just started getting confused with the time line for how seconardies worked.

I would get that app in ASAP!!! DON'T DELAY IT ANYMORE!!

AADSAS won't process it that fast, they sit on it for a few weeks, and moreso now then ever because everyone will be submitting around this time. So who knows how long it will take to get out.

As soon as it gets out each school will send out supp stuff depending on how busy they are, but usually it goes fairly quick.

Depending on your DAT scores and GPA you should still be ok to get an interview. I would recommed getting everything in ASAP because the ADA also will take a few weeks to send your DAT scores out. You might want to fax you DAT scores to the schools you really want to get in to.

my confusion is...are supplementary apps sent out prior to DAT scores?
i wonder if notifying them before AADSAS verify's my DAT scores does help...

You should get them before they receive your DAT score (assuming they have already received your AADSAS application). On AADSAS there is a list of supp materials that schools need so check that first. In some cases they won't contact you even if they have received your AADSAS application and will just expect you to send in the stuff without asking, good luck

I found that a lot of the school I had checks that they wanted immediately, and there were even some school with the supplemental already available on their websites for download.

As soon as you submit, you can start working on those regardless of DAT

I called each school and verified what I saw on their web sites. Some want apps AS SOON AS your AADSAS goes out. Some will send you the info later on. So each schools is different.

AADSAS doesn't verify your DAT scores, in fact on AADSAS just put down your future date of the DAT. The ADA send your DAT score 2-3 weeks after you take the test. It goes completly seperate from your AADSAS. The reason I say you could fax it is becaue some schools won't really look at you until the can see more or less what your DAT score is.

SOOO Get you app out, send all your checks out to the school if they want it and send the second apps if they want them too.
