I bombed on my recent MCAT and now have to retest. Having now submitted my primaries, will schools wait for my retest scores before considering me, or will I be rejected? Should I send in my secondaries from schools who have automatically requested them?

No, you won't be rejected unless you let them know on the AMCAS app that you will be retaking on a certain date. I am in the same boat as you, and have already submitted 6 secondaries. Once you submit secondaries, they hold onto your app and review it when they receive your second score. Good luck!

Will it be beneficial to deal with secondaries until after I take the exam? If I'm going to be on hold anyway, what would be the advantage (if any) of doing secondaries now? Thanks.

I was in the same boat as you. I decided to fill out secondaries AFTER I had retaken the MCAT but before I got my new score back. This allowed me to focus on the test, and worry about applying afterwards (since you need the score to have any chance at interviewing). Based on my new score, I submitted some of the secondaries I had started prior to receiving it. You are not "complete" at a school until they receive your new score. I apologize if this sounds confusing. I can clarify if you want to PM me.
