Do most schools send out secondaries to everyone? Which schools are known to not send secondaries to all apllicants?

An excellent resource for finding this type of info is in The Complete Book of Medical Schools by the Princeton Review. It is available at any bookstore. It has the lowdown on every school and their secondary practices. Hope this helps!

Pitt, Vanderbilt, and Stanford do not send secondaries to everyone.

Northwestern, the UC's, Loyola, and Wake Forest do not send secondaries to everyone.

...and then of course there are the rare schools like Baylor who don't screen but who's secondary is actually free!

Then there are also the rare schools like BU who does not have a secondary, but makes you pay the application fee anyway!

On my website (see link below), I've listed links to secondaries online. I've astericked the schools that screen before sending their secondaries. This info was based on Info taken from 2003-04 MSAR.
