Secondaries via email for DO schools

Dear all,
It appears that for most MD schools, the schools email you the secondaries when you pass the screen (if there is one).

It seems like most DO schools don't screen and in particular for NYIT, it appears that they will not notify you to fill out a secondary. So generally for DO school, are we not going to get an email notification for a secondary when your primary is sent it (ie you have to look for it manually and fill it out)?

Moist of mine did notify my by email (RVUCOM, CCOM, AZCOM, MUCOM). CCOM even sent me a snail mail letter. But NYIT does not send out any invitation to complete a secondary until much later than the secondaries open (July 15th).

Each school is different, but most will notify you. You should check the thread for last years application cycle for each school that you are applying to.

I received an e-mail from all 8 schools I sent a primary to with a link to the secondaries last cycle. I'm assuming it hasn't changed.

Actually, in my experience it was MD schools that did NOT screen. All sent the secondaries (and collected their fee), even if they had no intention of interviewing. DO schools for the most part screen and either send you a secondary if you fulfill their minimum requirements or reject/put you on hold. NYIT and a handful of others (at the time I remember LMU and UMDNJ being like that) ask for you to send your secondary right away after submitting the primary.
