You probably won't see secondaries for quite some time. I doubt that your application has even been transmitted yet. Search some of the old threads to get some idea.

sooner than you think and all at once, have fun

I doubt you see any secondaries until at least mid-July.

To give you an estimate, last year AMCAS transmitted our applications to the schools around mid-July. I received secondaries begining in late July. So you still have at least 5 weeks. Until then you can get a hold of some questions from old secondaries from those schools and work on those. Generally, they should be the same as last year.

Thanks for the help. I will be out of the country from July 2nd to July 11th so I just wanted to make sure they wouldn't be coming then.

Some schools send out automatic secondaries so those will be quicker. UCLA prescreens their applicants before sending out secondaries so they may take longer...but then again....it's still a little early in the cycle so there shouldn't be too much traffic at LA yet.

I don;t think it is really necessary to get old copies of secondaries. The essays are for the most part predictable, you pretty much know what they are going to ask you. A large majority of mine were like mini personal statements along with a request for descriptions of volunteer activities in a roundabout way. I would reccoment enjoying your summer because the next year won't be fun at all, way too much waiting, I'm still waiting and I sent in AMCAS two weeks from now last year.
