I have a couple schools secondaries that I have not been able to submit because they ask a question regarding experience with medically underserved populations. I do not really have experience with that from what I gather since I don't live in a big city and I don't live on a farm. What do they expect me to write? The question doesn't state, "If applicable.."

You don't have to live in a big city or a farm to serve underserved populations. By definition: [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Medically Underserved Areas/Populations are areas or populations designated by HRSA as having: too few primary care providers, high infant mortality, high poverty and/or high elderly population..

Where did you do your shadowing? Were all the patients the same? Where did you do your volunteering?

If the school is looking to recruit students who have much experience in underserved areas/populations, you may want to obtain some exposure to them. I don't know where you live but some ideas that pop into my head:
VA hospitals
Planned Parenthood clinics
community health centers
