Secondaries without MCAT score?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
As ndafife stated, it depends on the school. Some schools will even send secondaries before your AMCAS is verified. The more important point is that most will not consider your file complete until they have your MCAT, regardless of whether or not you have submitted a secondary so there's no real hurry to receive or submit secondaries without an MCAT score.

Interesting, so schools can see your app even when it hasn't been verified yet?

I believe they get a notice that you are applying when you submit your app as opposed to actually being able to view it

I sent my primary to 17 schools before even taking the MCAT. I still don't have my score and have received 11 secondaries so far.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they are able to see beyond the fact that you are applying… The schools that do this are typically ones with high applicant volumes and an unscrupulous thirst for secondary application fees. Caveat emptor

would you mind PM-ing me your school list that sent back secondaries? I don't have a score yet and want to minimize lag with where I apply. thanks
