I'm doing my MCAT for the 1st time in August, but submitting AMCAS in the next week or so.

Will schools send me secondaries before they get the MCAT scores? Or do I have to wait until October?

Schools that don't prescreen will send it.

I am still a bit unclear on this. I heard from somebody that there is no time limit to return secondaries, but people on these forums said there is a time limit. Anybody else know?

Some places do have a time limit. I don't remember which exactly.
