I was hoping someone might be able to address a few questions about secondaries:

-What schools use the primary application as a "first cut" and give a secondary once you have made it through?

-What schools do not screen and all applicants receive secondaries?

-If you decide to withdraw from applying to a school pre-secondary, how do you go about it?

-Are there any schools that do not require an additional check along with your secondary application?

I don't really know if there is a school that does NOT require an additional check when you submit your secondary.

Most of the schools send secondaries to all, I can't remember all that screen but I know Vanderbilt, Wake, and UNC do to name a few

A few. Check last year's school specific discussions: here.

Most, see previous answer.

Just don't fill it out. They'll forget about you pretty quick.

I've heard rumors of a school in florida that does this, but the answer is none unless that's true. Again, check the school specific forum.
.

do you receive secondaries via email? or regular mail?

Depends on the school. Most are email, but there's still some that send you mail, and some that send you mail linking to a website.

Most are submitted online, but some are still mail-in.
