Secondary App Information... (Penn and Creighton)

I have two questions pertaining to two different secondary applications I am filling out...

UPenn.) Question #1 states to "list any additional predental experience not included in your AADSAS application" with experiences, dates, locations, times, etc. I know what the question states but did anyone repeat information from their AADSAS or go into more detail about points/experience listed in their AADSAS form? I did two shadowing experiences and said them in my AADSAS, but wasn't sure if to explain them further (ex. say I shadowed oral surgeon and got to sit in on in the OR for Orthognathic Surgery and Facial Implants) or would they look down upon not filling out the form "correctly"


Creighton.) Question states "Please state if there is anything of particular importance that the Admissions Committee should know about you?" UNLV has a similar one...Is this something that you should try to fill out? Could I say something to the effect of (which I wanted them to know...) "I am a hard worker, when I realized I truly want to pursue dental school I have tried to turn my grades around from my first few semesters and have shown and upward trend reflecting my desire to attend dental school"

hi, i also filled out the 2ndaries for penn and creighton. for that question on the app for penn, i talked about some of the additional shadowing experience i have planned this year and got into a little more detail about the dental experiences i already mentioned in aadsas.

for the question on creighton's app, i think i left that particular one blank. i personally wanted to keep it concise and just didn't fell compelled strongly enough to respond to that question. but i'm sure they would appreciate reading what you mentioned about yourself in your post. plus, you state you would like them to know about it, so given what they're asking in the question, it seems like a good opportunity for you to mention that aspect of yourself.

I am filling out Upenn supplemental and i have the same question as well. It says please list any additional predental experience NOT included in you AADSAS application. I listed my dentistry experience in AADSAS but because of limited words i couldnt explain all of the work that i did the clinic. Should i explain that in the secondary or just leave that question blank?

i was wondering about the same thing---what kind of information is Creighton looking for when they ask "please state if there is anything important we need to know about you"... is it okay to leave it blank or would it look bad? do we write about what we've done concerning EC's or talk about our traits moreso?

and what could be some valid reasons to put down on the supplemental for choosing Creighton?

as for UPenn, how long are you making your supplemental essays? in the process of writing them now.
