Secondary App "optional" essay?

I'm filling out the UAB "optional" secondary app info and I'm kind of confused. I pretty much feel that my essay for optomcas was great. I'm kind of confused on the secondary app though because it says

If you have any additional information you would like to share with the Admissions Committee at UABSO, please enter below (limit to 1000 characters):

I know that this is another chance for me to add something about myself, but I'm confused what to actually write about for this....?
Do schools go over the secondary app FIRST? or do they go over the optomcas app first? Thanks

I understand the compulsion to fill out every empty field of an application, but the portion you cite does seem to invite people only to make "additional comments" — i.e., things they feel are important to their candidacy, but that they were unable to mention elsewhere on their applications. If you feel your submission is complete, as it is, just forgo this section.

I also applied to UAB.
On the section you are talking about, I simply put "I have no additional comments."
I still received an interview from them, so I don't think it is detrimental to your application.
