hi guys, I'm in the process of getting some sec applications going. I received some in paper format and I'm wondering if I'm required to write on those forms or do I have the option of typing everything up? I don't quite like my handwriting!! 😳 Thankx in advance!

Well, I personally prefer a typed application: It makes it appear more professional. However, its definitely harder than handwriting it. But, for me, if I can, I always try to type everything up

If they don't specifically mention that you are required to print on the applicaiton by hand, you can type on it. There's always a signature part to the application, and that one, you're definitely required to handwrite.

thankx DDSY!! 🙂 anyone else want to share on this issue?

I use Adobe to insert text on apps. The Creighton application specifically said to use my own handwriting or printing, so I did.

That is a great tip. Or if you are on a really tight budget and don't want to purchase anything you can download a fully functional version of Adobe Professional from their website for a 30 day trial. Don't know if you can reinstall and start your 30 days over though.

do you have to give a credit card number for that trial?

No. It is a pretty big file since it is a fully functional version. Takes awhile, but it is definitely worth it for filling out those PDF's. Actually, you can convert word, or any other document to PDF and fill them out also. Long answer for a short question.

So far I only had to do one supplementary, UPenn. I def agree that these things should be typed if possible, it looks more professional
