I'm currently in the process of writing secondary applications, but I keep finding myself answering the prompts in less words/characters than are available. For example, for a 250 word limit prompt I am finding that my essay response feels complete in 150 words. Is it bad for me to be consistently under the word/character limit? Do I really need to elaborate more? For some of the prompts, I feel like adding more words/characters to reach the limit would lead to me just bs-ing some stuff, and I think that would be worse than submitting a secondary with fewer words. Thoughts?
